Sutherland Trust - Awards

Awards can be made to workers in health and social care, education and residential and community settings, who have limited resources but wish to undertake further courses. It is necessary that applicants show personal commitment by making some financial contribution themselves and that they will be in a position to use their learning in their work. Awards will be spread as fairly as possible to include applicants from different professional backgrounds.

To assist with forward planning, successful applicants will be expected in due course to inform the Trust how the award has helped them.

Applications can now be received for study to be undertaken.

There are two application rounds with closing dates on 15th February and 30th June each year. Applications for help with courses can be considered only at these times of year.

Please apply in good time to ensure you have the information that you need before the start date.
