Neville Singh I am a former Trustee of the Sutherland Trust. I was employed as an NHS Staff Counsellor before retiring in 2004. Previously I had worked with adolescents and their parents at a specialist unit. During that time I published two clinical papers: on Multiple Family Therapy (1982) and on therapeutic work with in-patient adolescents (1987). Having been influenced by the work and thought of J D Sutherland since 1970, I always regarded my work – whether clinical or managerial or educational – as fundamentally human relations work. Therefore, it follows naturally that I will continue to support the ideals and outlook of the Sutherland Trust in my new capacity as one of its Patrons.
