Linda Hunt
Trustee
Linda Hunt is a qualified social worker with experience of working in adult psychiatry, specialist alcohol problems agencies and with children and families. She was Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Manchester before joining the Scottish Office, where she was Assistant Chief Inspector of Social Work.
For four years (1982-85) she was a visiting consultant at the Indian School of Management in Calcutta, working with colleagues in the development of group and organisational understanding and skills in industry and social services.
Her publications include articles on group work and organisational learning and a basic social work text on working with people who have alcohol problems and she has contributed chapters on elderly people still struggling with the impact of trauma experienced in earlier life to two recently published texts.
